Hotel Hansen and its restaurant celebrated 100 years of existence in 2014. The family owned business has been managed by the third generation for 35 years. The fourth generation, Stephanie and Andreas Rieck, assume responsibility for the new and modern catering concept as well as freshly renovated hotel rooms.
In the restaurant or for events either in or out of the hotel, Andreas Rieck loves cooking. Trained in the Kiel Castle and having worked in many different establishments like the Seehotel Töpferhaus and the Marriott in Hamburg, he returned to the in-house Hansens Restaurant in 2006.
Stephanie Rieck, hotel specialist, completed her training in the Landhaus Wolfskrug and worked in the Hotel Strandhalle in Schleswig, before she returned to the family owned business as well.
Important for the whole family is to offer their guests peace, comfort and an excellent and friendly service.
